I attended Esthetician School from 2022-2023 and I was shocked by how little hands on training we received in school. I had a substitute teacher the majority of my time in school and it was not a positive experience. Many of my peers did not truly care about learning about the skin. They were concerned about makeup and lashes. While I eventually pushed myself to study on my own and passed my exam, I knew I wanted to help other esthetician students who truly care about the skin.
